So, that’s me silently packing/struggling to configure my Peter McKinnon X NOMATIC Camera Pack. That’s not the bag’s fault. There are just so many options on how to configure the bag and my quest to use it most efficiently makes me very slow about all of it.
This is how I initially packed it. This will definitely change as I tinker more, but let’s consider this the Drone Setup:
Main Compartment:
Canon EOS R with a 16-35L II
Canon 24-70LII (might replace with the 50L)
Canon 85L II
Deity D3 Pro mic with dead cat
SwitchPod
On the inside flap:
The filter case with 2 82mm variable NDs (generic because I am poor), 72-77-82mm step up rings and a 77mm star filter
The memory card case with 1x C-Fast2, 1x C-Fast, 3x SDs and a micro SD with its SD adapter
The battery case with 3 LP-E2s (for the EOS R) and added the cute skull stickers it came with
Accessories Case: (This one I am having the most trouble with. I’d like this to be my action camera bag, but I need to configure more to have a couple of GoPros and some attachments)
2x external battery pack
Apple plug
LP-E6 charger
All pertinent cords
Ballhead for the SwitchPod
Camera Cube:
Mavic Pro with its remote, charger and pertinent cords
Polar Pro ND filter set for the Mavic Pro
Outside Main Pocket:
Another bigger battery pack and additional random assortment of cords (USB-C, micro USB and Lighting)
What is missing:
I want to try to move the EOS R to the Camera Cube and put a 1DX II in the main compartment, but that will make me leave the Mavic. Decisions, decisions…
If I don’t need the Accessories Case, I can replace that with a 70-200L II
